I work to the standards laid down by the UKCP. This includes the required practice and continuing professional development hours to maintain competency. I access clinical supervision through the Cumbria family therapy peer supervision group which meets monthly.

About me
I have 30 years experience working in the N.H.S adult and children’s mental health services. This included managing in-patient units, working as a generic and forensic community psychiatric nurse and managing and delivering the family therapy service across North Cumbria based in the local Psychotherapy Department for the last 13 years of my N.H.S. career. I have worked as a family therapy trainer for the Family Therapy Training Network based in Glasgow and currently for the Cumbria Therapeutic Adoption Support Service.
